Rebecca Kohout, Au.D.
Lead Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Rebecca Kohout graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and received her Doctorate in Audiology from Auburn University. Dr. Kohout is a member of both the Texas Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Audiology. In June of 2015, Dr. Kohout joined Allison Audiology after working with a large Ear, Nose, and Throat group. She is continuing to do what she enjoys most in developing long-lasting relationships with her patients by assessing and providing solutions for their hearing challenges and addressing their concerns. In her free time, Dr. Kohout is an avid college football fan, especially rooting for the Baylor Bears. She is also an active member of her church and enjoys spending time with her family and two cats.
Erin Arceneaux-Larson, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Erin Larson graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders and her Doctorate in Audiology. Dr. Larson is a member of both the Texas Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Audiology. In 2017, Dr. Larson joined Allison Audiology as a student extern and remained an integral part of the team after graduation. She enjoys the ability to establish long-lasting relationships with patients and being able to see each thrive with improved hearing. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Larson spends her time with her family and adorable two dogs.
Jana Emola-Austin, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Jana Austin graduated with a B.A in Communications from Texas A&M in 2004 and received her doctorate in audiology from the University of North Texas in May of 2009. Dr. Austin is Board Certified in Audiology and a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology and the American Academy of Audiology. In May of 2008, she joined Allison Audiology as a doctoral intern and was hired as a full-time employee after graduation. In 2013, Dr. Austin took over the practice after Dr. Paula Allison retired from the clinic. Keeping up with the ever-changing technology associated with the hearing industry proves to be quite a challenge, but she is gratified by the daily rewards that come from helping her patients remain connected to their loved ones and to the activities they enjoy. Besides spending time with her husband and two dogs, Dr. Austin is active in the community and enjoys fishing in just about any body of water.
Ryan Keutzer, H.I.S.
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Ryan Keutzer has a B.A. in Business Management from Texas State University. Growing up in the hearing healthcare field, Ryan received countless hours of hands-on experience in terms of fitting, troubleshooting, and repairing hearing instruments from his mother, Paula Allison, Au.D. the founder of Allison Audiology. Though he worked part-time in hearing healthcare through school, Ryan joined Allison Audiology full-time after receiving his degree. Ryan is well versed in all areas of amplification, including Bluetooth connectivity and its integration with hearing aids. Ryan also has extensive experience in hearing protection, from musician’s monitors to digital, custom-fit Hunter’s plugs.
Allison Fruge joined Allison Audiology in 2017 as our Patient Care Coordinator. Her passion for assisting patients quickly became evident while helping on the phone, scheduling visits, and welcoming patients as they entered our office. In 2019, Allison completed the Audiology Assistant training program in order to work hands on with patients. She is eager to assist with any hearing device repairs and troubleshooting, including questions regarding your Bluetooth technology. In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Stephanie Young is the office manager at our Houston location. After working in varying healthcare roles, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. She is also the smiling face that assists you when you are in the office and is there to answer any questions you may have.
Patient Care Coordinator
Kristen Jackson is the smiling voice you hear on the phone when scheduling an appointment and is one of the first people you see when entering our office. She is here to answer questions and help our patients any way she can. Next time you're in the office, be sure say hello to Kristen.
