Meet Dr. Lindsey Moder, Au.D.
Lindsey grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin, and completed her undergraduate in Milwaukee. She then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she received her doctorate at Nova Southeastern University.
Recently, she moved from the sunshine state to the wonderful city of Houston and has loved it ever since.
As a child, Lindsey was exposed to hearing loss and the devastating side effects it can have. With her grandfather diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease and her father suffering from vertigo and vestibular issues, Lindsey was keen to find out more about audiology and has loved this area of work since.
As a doctor of audiology, her role mainly involves dealing with patients and helping them get to the core of their problems. This includes diagnosing hearing loss and fitting hearing aids, as well as getting to know patients personally.
In truth, there are many things Lindsey loves about her work, but her favorite part is establishing and maintaining relationships with patients and being able to provide them with solutions for better hearing.
When Lindsey’s not at work, she enjoys trying out new restaurants, relaxing by the poolside, staying active, and getting out with her dog, Howard.
