“My quality of life has certainly improved.”
When I first realized something was up with my ears, I was concerned about how it would affect maintaining my job and performing to the best of my abilities. Before contacting the clinic, I didn’t have many fears, aside from wondering if they would help me hear better in challenging environments.
My first impression of the clinic was very positive and I felt comfortable right away. Since getting hearing aids, my quality of life has certainly improved. For anyone concerned about their hearing and considering a visit, I’d recommend Allison Audiology; I’ve already referred at least 10 people!

“They have been essential in maintaining my personal and professional connections with people”
My ministry includes confidential conversations and presentations to various sized groups. I found myself needing to ask people to repeat what they had just said, which is not efficient when dealing with individuals. Knowing my family history of hearing difficulties, I decided to explore what options I had to enhance my ministry and personal connections with people.
Before contacting Allison Audiology, I was concerned about the price of hearing aids. However, I was able to find a range that I could manage. My first impressions of Allison Audiology were very positive. The staff were professional at all levels, personable, ready to answer my questions, and provided options to fit my needs.
Since getting hearing aids, they have been essential in maintaining my personal and professional connections with people. To anyone concerned about their hearing and considering a visit to Allison Audiology, I would say, find out what is possible and don’t continue to handicap yourself.

“Allison Audiology will do their best for you in a professional, knowledgeable manner and will listen to your concerns.”
My family and friends repeatedly told me I wasn’t hearing properly but I was in denial. at first and didn’t believe them. Eventually, I visited Allison Audiology to see if it were true and found out that it was. When I visited the clinic, they were professional, courteous, and eager to help.
Since getting hearing aids, my hearing has improved greatly, though not to the level I had initially hoped. To anyone who is concerned about their hearing, especially if others are noting a hearing loss, I would say to get your hearing checked and avoid denial. Allison Audiology will do their best for you in a professional, knowledgeable manner and will listen to your concerns.

“Hearing aids have had a HUGE impact on my life —I can hear now”
I lost 70% of my hearing in 2018 when I got shingles on the left side of my face—my only good ear, as I’ve been totally deaf in my right ear since I was a small child. My greatest concern was being able to hear and use my cell phone by Bluetooth, something most hearing aids don’t enable. My first impression was that they were a huge help when I couldn’t get assistance elsewhere. Hearing aids have had a HUGE impact on my life —I can hear now, most of the time.
It is challenging in crowded or loud rooms since the hearing aid picks up everything, but overall, it’s been a massive help. If you’re concerned about your hearing and considering a visit, I would say that Allison Audiology pays attention to your needs and does a great job of bringing effective hearing solutions to those hard of hearing.

“Hearing aids has truly made a world of difference and I would recommend Allison Audiology to anyone”
I’ve had hearing loss all my life, so there wasn’t a singular moment where I first realized something was wrong with my ears. As a result, I had no fears or concerns before visiting the clinic. Plus, I found the staff there to be professional and helpful, and the clinic to be a nice establishment.
Before getting hearing aids, I had never heard a bird chirp in my 58 years of life. The impact of hearing aids has truly made a world of difference and I would recommend Allison Audiology to anyone who is concerned about their hearing.

“If you are concerned about your hearing and you do nothing about it, you will live your life always concerned about your hearing.”
Suffering from hearing loss since he was 7 years old, Billy has endured a lifetime of hearing loss troubles and mishaps.
From punctured eardrums to fluid building behind his eardrums, his luck was falling short and he was concerned his hearing would never improve.
Billy explains, “My eardrums today have had many scares from the past. The first time I had difficulty hearing was in school when I was when 7-8 years old.
“In those days I had fluid building behind my eardrums. My eardrums were punctured several times over the next few years so the fluid could drain from my ear canals. All this took place before the time tubes were available.”
As a teenager, Billy spent much of his time in the fields picking and planting, but he could barely hear the foreman speaking to him loudly in the face.
Over the next few years, his hearing loss slowly began to deteriorate further and leaked into his personal life. Soon after, he fell behind in school and his grades suffered.
While Billy was aware that he suffered from hearing loss, he didn’t understand how he compared against the normal range for hearing.
It was only until he came across Dr. Jana Emola-Austin at Allison Audiology, where he started to recognize the severity of his hearing loss.
After being fitted with hearing aids, Billy began to hear things he hadn’t heard in years adding: “The difference has been huge. In the morning, I can hear the birds chirp, the ceiling fan go round and round, the coffee maker making its noise.
“I hear the people I work with and love. Before hearing aids, I worried that I might be not be aware of people when they spoke to me; leaving them with the impression I wanted to ignore what they had to say.”
Billy was most impressed by the professional staff at Allison Audiology, where they treated his concerns with the level of care needed. He says:
“I was treated very kindly. Doctor Jana Emola-Austin and other staff members listened to my concerns and took them seriously.”
While it took Billy many years before getting the appropriate treatment for his hearing loss, he encourages others to take action early.
Billy adds: “If you are concerned about your hearing and you do nothing about it, you will live your life always concerned about your hearing.”
We are so glad to have helped Billy on his road to better hearing and we encourage others to take the next step in improving their quality of life. As Billy says, you never know what you’re missing.
Billy rates his experience with Allison Audiology as 10/10.

“I felt comfortable and at ease. The people were nice and were willing to take the time to adjust the hearing aids for me and show me how to maintain them.”
“People were always saying I told you that already. I was missing conversations. My mind would have to decode sometimes what someone would say.
“I was concerned about the cost of hearing aids and how much they would benefit me.

“I was having to ask people to repeat things and I found myself turning my TV volume up more and more.
“I was worried that wearing a hearing aid would make me look old.
“The office was inviting, and office staff made me feel comfortable.
“My audiologist was so knowledgeable it made me feel secure and I knew I had come to the right place.
“I absolutely love, love my hearing aids. I tell everyone how they have changed my life for the better. It is so wonderful to be able to hear the conversations I was missing, because sometimes I was embarrassed to keep asking people to repeat things.
